We have been crushing over all the amazing wanderlust photos of Rachel Barwick (@life.with.three). We were lucky enough to catch up with her and have a quick chat in between all her travels!
Tell us a little bit about yourself
My name is Rachel and I live in Adelaide with my partner Daniel (@caravandan) and my little fur baby, Poppie. I grew up here in South Australia and have always loved exploring my home state and other parts of the world. As a child, my family and I would go on many Aussie adventures so when people say, “oh you wouldn’t know where it is”, chances are I have been there! Exploring Australia as a child is among some of my fondest memories. Just last year Daniel, Poppie and I took 6 months exploring the east coast of Australia, all the way up to Cape Tribulation. We found many new beautiful places that I hadn’t yet explored but I also loved going to places that I had been to as a child. Australia has so many hidden gems and I feel so blessed to have seen just a few.
I have and will always love animals and that is why I became vegan. I love the fact that Boracay skin products are vegan and that is something that is really important to me when I am looking for something new.
What does your morning routine consist of?
I have always been an early riser so I get up quite early and help my partner get ready for work. I make breakfast (usually a shake) and check any emails I may have received over night. I usually make a list of the things I need to get done that day. Perhaps editing, replying to emails or planning to go out on a shoot!
Your favourite destination in the world?
I can’t go past Byron Bay. I think everyone has that place, where they feel at home and more themselves than anywhere else. I love the beaches here, the atmosphere and the sunrises… oh the sunrises! You can feel so isolated but then if you want you can be amongst all the people again in a matter of minutes. And can we talk about the food here?! Not only do you have delicious food eateries but they have the most amazing markets! They have beautiful local produce including amazing tropical fruits. It really is my paradise.
Being on the go all the time, how do you keep your skin glowing?
I am really conscious about my skincare routine and love to keep my skin hydrated. I love using body oils like Boracay Skin and for my face I love using rose hip oil instead of a moisturizer. My skin feels so soft and smooth with this product and I love it even more because its natural and vegan ☺
Where can we expect to see you next?
We are planning our next trip before heading off to Hawaii in November ☺
